Omega

The story of Omega starts in 1848 with Louis Brandt in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. Today, the second-largest watchmaker measured in annual turnover continues to produce some of the best watches available, now under the Swatch Group umbrella. Omega quickly gained recognition for creating reliable and innovative timepieces. In 1894, they introduced a revolutionary 19-ligne caliber, which was extremely precise and so easy to service that the brand adopted its current name "Omega," symbolizing this perfection.

Omega’s commitment to precision has led the brand to reach historic milestones. In 1932, they became the official timekeeper of the Olympic Games, a prestigious role the brand still holds to this day. Omega also gained new heights (literally) in 1969 when the Omega Speedmaster became the first watch worn on the moon, during NASA’s Apollo 11 mission—granting it the nickname “the Moonwatch.”

With other iconic models like the Seamaster, Omega also left its mark on cinema, having James Bond wear this model in the movie series since 1995. Their timepieces truly combine heritage, technology, and style in a way that appeals to everyone– Adventurers, athletes, and collectors alike.

Today, every Omega watch features an in-house movement and they all provide an unquestionable value proposition. The brand truthfully deserves to be held respected amongst the best in the industry, without a doubt.
